. Small boats should be washed down with clean fresh water and a mild detergent after each use. Then dry all metal, glass, and flat surfaces before storing. Keep your boat covered to protect it from sun and rain. In addition, take the time to do routine inspections of your boat and its components to help keep rust and corrosion under control.

fluid with good film building properties for open surfaces as well as for cavities. It is capable of good penetration into crevices and joints, preventing further corrosion even on damp or dirty surfaces. Dinitrol leaves a brown, waxy water repellent protective film so is highly effective in marine applications. It can protect inboard and outboard engines, electronics, deck hardware, wiring and more.
To keep your boat rust and mildew free during storage, you should eliminate excess moisture in the storage area. This can be achieved by storing your boat in a climate-controlled unit or to run a dehumidifier in the unit. This in addition to applying Dinitrol rust preventitive fluid, will help protect your investment from rust, mold and mildew.
